G+ idea – circle people by interest?

Circling by Interest
When most people put together their circles, they usually put it together by which type of people they're circling. Maybe there's a "work" circle, a "friends" circle, an "not sure" circle, for people they don't yet know. I'm thinking that circling by interest might be another way to organize.
For instance, if you circle +Stuart Witts , you'd want to put him in some kind of circle like Geek Fun because Stuart shares the coolest things for nerds. If you circle +Chris Zoller from Polar, you'd put him in Healthy or Sports because he posts primarily about fitness stuff. (And yes, not everyone posts specifically to a category. I pity the poor people who classify me as marketing because I'm just as prone to share pictures of my food, videos about beatboxing, and who knows what.)
But then, if you move on from that interest, you can consider whether you want to keep the circle at all. For instance, maybe you're really getting interested in amusement parks. You start circling people who are park aficionados like you. And then you decide one day that you're no longer pursuing that interest. It'd be easier to delete the entire circle and stop reading those types of updates, if people were grouped by interest.
What do you think? How are your circles organized right now?
